The Department of Mathematics at Boğaziçi University-İstanbul invites applications for full time faculty positions in the areas of applied mathematics (in a broad sense with strong mathematical emphasis) and analysis. Strong applicants in other fields will also be taken into consideration. We are looking for candidates with an enthusiasm for both research and teaching. Department members are expected to supervise undergraduate and graduate students, as well as to assume some administrative responsibilities. Turkish citizens can only apply to assistant professorship, others can apply to positions at any level. Applicants should submit - an up-to-date curriculum vitae including a complete list of publications, - a research statement summarizing past research and explaining plans for future research, - a statement of teaching experience and philosophy, - three recommendation letters. For assistant professorship, post-doc experience is required.
