Applications are invited for an MSc scholarship at Galatasaray University / Istanbul in scope of a TUBITAK funded research project entitled “Fundamental Modular Groupoid“. The project focusses on the investigation of  various properties (involving arithmetic, analytic, algebraic, geometric) of versions of “ fundamental modular groupoid” which arises as a natural object to study in Teichmüller theory/mapping class groups.
The appointment is for up to 24 months, starting this October and does not involve any teaching duties.
