Izmir Institute of Technology seeks applications for one doctoral and one postdoctoral fellowship from young mathematicians with a strong research record in partial differential equations (PDEs). The Fellowship will start as soon as possible and continue for at least 18 months. An extension is possible but is subject to funding.
The fellowship is linked to a TÜBİTAK 3501 Career grant that is aiming to analyze the solutions of some initial boundary value problems for Ginzburg-Landau equations on domains.
Previous experience on Ginzburg-Landau equations is not necessary but desirable. Preference will be given to candidates who has experience in the analysis of PDEs. Postdoctoral candidates are required to hold a Ph.D. degree in mathematics.

Important: Doctoral Fellowship can be given to graduate students of universities and institutions in Turkey. Individuals with a PhD degree and who do not have any other source of income can get the postdoctoral fellowship. To get a postdoctoral fellowship, the applicant should not be older than 40 years and have got his/her PhD degree in the last five years.
TÜBİTAK BİDEB funded students can be fellowship students in one 3501 project as long as they do not receive any stipends from the project fund. It is not possible to be a fellowship student simultaneously in two different projects from any program funded by TÜBİTAK.
